Bathroom Configurator
How we developed a concept for GROHE that helps to inspire and support its customers in planning the perfect bathroom.
The Customer
GROHE is a global supplier of sanitary fittings and innovative solutions for bathrooms and kitchens. The company stands for outstanding design, quality and sustainability. GROHE develops products that are used in both private households and large construction projects, placing particular emphasis on water efficiency and modern technology.
The Challenges
Customers planning a new bathroom have a difficult time. Which products suit their taste, their room and each other? GROHE offers a wide range of harmonised products to match all preferences. How can a configurator help customers to put together as many of the GROHE products as possible and simplify the purchase and installation process?
Our Work
Together with GROHE and our technology partner Etecture, we worked in several workshops to specify the requirements and functions of the configurator. Based on the technical possibilities, we developed a service blueprint and a prototype.
The Result
The configurator provides a testable, quantifiable and feasible answer to the question of how GROHE can support its customers in the user-friendly realisation of their bathroom dream. From the inspiration to the compilation and ordering to the commissioning of the installers.
Recommendations and visualisation of the variants make it easier for customers to select suitable products.
Comparison overviews help customers to decide between individual products.
Attractive, realistic 3D visualisations give customers a perfect impression of how the chosen product will look in their bathroom and in combination with other products.
